NEW YORK - Addressing the U.N. Assembly, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd demanded "compulsory global importation" of Foster's beer.
"We will not accept anything else than a global trading agreement that stipulates each nation must import and consume a certain amount of Foster's each and every day," the Prime Minister told the assembly. "Or else."
Dry nations, including Muslim countries, stormed out of the Prime Minister's address almost immediately afterward, leaving others to wildly applaud alone. The Prime Minister's ominous "or else" went unexplained.
"We feel that the world needs now, more than ever, to kick back with a cool one," the Prime Minister explained to press afterward. "Why not throw a few shrimp on the barbie as well?"
The leader's urging of a more "laid back global attitude" however didn't sit well with most other world leaders, who were significantly more uptight. The clear benefactor of the address, Foster's Beer, however, saw an immediately surge in sales.
