AMERICA - Millions of Americans woke up today and saw on T.V. there was an election yesterday and they were clueless.
"No way," said one guy I stopped on the street as I walked into work. "I thought they were running a re-run episode of GMA this morning or something. Seriously? An election? Man I coulda voted!"Others were more angry than confused. "Crap! I could've made a difference too if anyone stll bothered to vote in midterm elections. Let's be honest, it just doesn't have the panache of a presidential election does it?"
Some people, however, did realize there was an election and decided to fill in the "toss the bums out" oval. "We've been waiting for a way to express our extreme hatred of the current administration and their policies of peaceful resolution and assistance to millions of Americans struggling with mounting health-care costs," said one voter, who I was able to find after a seven hour power search. "People must be free to fend for themselves."
